The decision to have an abortion is one that many women have hidden away in their past. Shame, guilt and the fear of having their secret revealed cause us to strive to conceal this wound. Many post-abortive women walk side by side daily, suffering in silence because of the lies that have been planted in our hearts and our minds. These lies have us believing that the silence is necessary for us to survive our choice.

Restoring Truth is a ministry developed to stand against the lies that threaten to hold us captive, to help us find the Truth that will set us free. Restoring Truth is based on the forgiveness and restoration that is possible only through the Lord Jesus Christ. To be restored through the love of God is so much more than simply surviving the abortion choice in the past; it is a total healing that allows the post-abortive woman to finally walk free without the pain. It allows us glorify God as our lives become less about the choice that we made and all about the goodness and the power of our Healer.

Restoring Truth meets on Tuesday night at 6:00pm in the conference room of Living Word Ministries. Confidentiality is a requirement that allows this meeting to be a safe place where we can share and heal freely without fear.

SaveOne is a study that offers help through group study, or one-on-one help. It is a Bible based curriculum that was written by the SaveOne founder Sheila Harper. Sheila chose abortion in 1985 for her first child and lived with mental and emotional anguish for 7 years following that choice.
